Also I'm developing an inscryption style game, too.

its smarter to talk about that sorta stuff on the Community page of itch instead of on other creators game pages xD

sorry i'm new

it happens, but for the future this is the right place to talk about it-> here

Is this like inscryption, with a story, and just has an additional multiplayer mode? Just checking

Anybody else feels mantis warrior too strong?

Great game by the way :) masterpiece

I really liked your game, I thought the art was very beautiful, if you can, you can send it to me or put it on the website or play the rules, since I'm from Brazil it's a little difficult to understand, I would also like to already have the sting masters, I love them, I hope they have cool art, good luck and keep up the incredible work

;)

has anyone else gotten the issue when you place a card down but your opponent in multiplayer sees a different card than what you placed?

haven't encountered or seen reports (if it's a 0.2 specific bug there could just not have been enough testing yet) but now it's noted, if you have more details that'd be helpful, thanks :)

well the bug has been occurring even before the 0.2 update

Sorry for the inconvenience, this particular instance of the bug was very consistent and unique to 0.2.0, caused by modifications in the draw pile code, it should be fixed in the current versions of the 0.2.0 downloads

Hi ! First of all, congratulations for the game! Obviously there is still some content missing but in terms of quality I almost want the game to be official. I just have one suggestion : it would be handy to be able to save decks so you don't have to recompose them after you want to try another one.

And also, the discord link doesn't work, if you could fix it that would be cool.

Thanks ! practical options for the deckbuilder are in the plans

and that discord link is consistantly annoying, is it working now ?

Cool !

Also, the link works fine : thanks !

Looks good but as I mentioned in Inscryption Multiplayer server I can't run it, also can you renew Discord invitation link in game description since it is no longer valid?

Lower-demand version is in progress
I have renewed the link last time it went out and discord shows it as valid, renewing it again anyway, it should work

Thanks a lot, However clicking on link still says "invite expired", I think something on the Discord's side of things, recently interacted with hacked account maybe that's the reason

OMG, I searched for some collectible card games made in godot but I didn't know there was this gem! Great game, great graphics, great feeling

Great game has a lot of potential

The game is vey fun! I'd recommend a few changes:

  • The deck builder puts some card very far away and makes them hard to see, I recommend putting the cards either in a regular menu or maybe a book if you wanna keep things diegetic
  • The game really needs a tutorial, so just make that to slowly introduce card mechanics to the player (when possible)
  • The cards elderbug plays face away from the player, which is how they'd be in real life, but when playing against an AI the cards should face the player, to make it easier to read.
  • The board isn't very well divided, and by that I mean the individual lanes. I'd recommend putting an indicator that 2 cards per lane is the maximum (not too hard to figure out but it would help with initial confusion).

So those are really the only complaints, and even then this is the 0.0.1 build so it's not a big deal. Hope to see tis finished at some point! :)

Thanks for the feedback ! I'm already working on a nice diegetic deckbuilder screen and improved readability features that will all be included in the first update and I'll make sure to adress your points :)
